In the NAV era, it was common to bundle different requirements, solutions, add-ons and bespoke modules – no matter how unique - into one system. From automated access control to zoo management: NAV was the hammer and every requirement - be it small or big - was just another nail. But times have changed. Today’s customers, tend to use specific SaaS Software for specific scenarios instead of cramming every requirement into one solution. In this session, we will share a real-world scenario with you. We will show how we dealt with the changed way of working and how we broke down the “BC-monolith" by connecting various systems using a middleware built with Azure. Learn how we bridged systems, aligned with modern SaaS thinking, and created a flexible, maintainable architecture that scales.

From generating code to automating the entire developer workflow. 2025 was the year we all moved from "Eh, Copilot is just a fancy autocomplete..." to "...okay fine, it actually writes solid code." But that’s not where this ends. Now we have planning modes, sub-agents, and an MCP for basically every annoying thing in a dev’s life. The magic is no longer in writing code, but in understanding the whole task around it: the requirements, planning the steps, generating the code, testing it, fixing it, and documenting it. Last year was the last time using AI was optional. This year, it’s simply part of the job.

Demo or Disaster? How to build better Business Central demos

Demo data is the foundation of successful pre-sales scenarios and other kind of demos in Business Central - and at the same time one of the biggest challenges. Anyone who has ever tried to set up realistic demo scenarios for a complex ERP system knows that preparation can take days. RapidStart packages used to be the only option but came with limitations. With the Contoso Coffee project, Microsoft introduced a more modern approach, but this only covers the standard product. Partners are still left with the challenge of presenting their own products convincingly. In this session, I’ll shortly share the story of demo data in Business Central – and introduce a new open-source tool that automatically generates a Contoso Coffee–style extension from existing BC data. Most of the work is automated, while the remaining can be fine-tuned together with pre-sales or consulting teams. The result: consistent, realistic demos with much less effort. In today’s fast-paced business environment, customers expect immediate and seamless support, no matter which channel they use. This session demonstrates how Dynamics 365 Contact Center and Business Central can be combined to deliver a truly integrated customer service experience, eliminating the need to switch between systems. We’ll walk through a real-world scenario: a customer calls to report a defective product. The call is routed through Contact Center, where the agent can instantly access Business Central data (orders, invoices, inventory,..) directly within the Dynamics interface. From the agent's panel, the product’s serial number is verified, the issue is logged, and a return is initiated in Business Central, all without leaving the screen. In this session, we will take a look at the general concepts and ideas, take a deep dive into the protocol and practical applications, both with free open-source tools and Microsoft's AI portfolio.
